What is Soft Washing?
Soft Washing is a method of cleaning surfaces without the use of high pressure equipment. Some surfaces, such as rendered walls, would be damaged by high pressure water. The soft washing technique uses a mix of chemicals such as biocide/bleach/algeacides/surfactants and water to safely clean exterior surfaces.

We ensure all of our operatives have all completed the City & Guilds Accredited Soft Washing training programme. We have a comprehensive knowledge on all health and safety, COSHH, label compliance, environmental responsibility, legislation and best practice methods concerning soft washing.
Why should I have my surfaces soft washed?
Microbes such as mold, algae, lichen, mildew and bacteria are responsible for the majority of discolouration on exterior surfaces. Furthermore, the metabolism of these microorganisms is acidic and destructive to the surface. Eradicating these microorganisms protects against staining and enhances the durability of the surfaces.
How long will a soft wash last?
Compared to pressure washing, soft washing eradicates the microbes that cause the discolouration whereas pressure washing merely washes off the surface layer. Because of this, it is expected that a soft wash treatment could prevent regrowth up to 4 times longer than when compared to pressure washing.
